Grand Cedar is home to our residents, so we treat it as our home too. We only employ very experienced nurses and support staff are experienced and passionate about aged care. We pride ourselves on having an open communication process and innovative culture where everyone contributes positively to the stability and happiness of the house.

OUR KITCHEN IS THE HEART OF OUR HOME.
We believe that meals must be an enjoyable part of everyday life so we use only the best, freshest ingredients to create delicious restaurant quality food that is varied and can be personalised depending on your favourite dishes. With our policy of “protected mealtimes”, residents are not interrupted by staff during a meal to take medicines – staff will instead most probably sit down and share a meal with you. We are proud to have world class chef, Matthew Butcher, as our food ambassador. He has created a wonderful menu for our home!

MEET YOUR GRAND CEDAR SENIOR TEAM:
Terry ensures residents and staff are happy and comfortable at all times.
After a solid banking career he decided to follow his heart into the aged care industry – where he’d witnessed his parents do amazing and rewarding work for our growing aging population.
In addition to his significant aged care experience and qualifications, Terry also has a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is passionate about delivering outstanding care and continuously learning about contemporary best practices. Having worked in the aged care industry, previously commissioned residential aged care services and founded a multi-site aged care company, Terry believes he understands all facets of aged care delivery at all levels and is striving to make Grand Cedar the best home of its kind in Australia.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Philippa is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations by supporting the management team at Grand Cedar.
As a registered nurse, Philippa has over 12 years of experience working in the aged care industry. Her experience working as an aged care nurse, coupled with her management abilities, gives her a unique perspective on how to develop services that are meaningful to residents as they age.
Philippa is passionate about providing the best care for our residents and wants to ensure they are settled and feel at home at Grand Cedar.

Resident Services Manager
Suzie is responsible for tours, admissions and assisting families with the transition into aged care. She also oversees the management of additional services to deliver a superior resident experience.
With over 15 years of experience working in aged care, Suzie understands the complexities of emotional, financial and management issues in aged care. Having worked in large organisations, Suzie loves working in a smaller, boutique home where she can really make a difference and build strong personal relationships with residents, families and staff.
